Do magazines buy vintage celebrity concert photos/slides?
I'm looking to sell a set of vintage original color slides/transparency concert photos of a deceased celebrity from the 1970s. The slides are in excellent condition. Does anyone know of any publication, magazines that purchase vintage celebrity photos?
One of the photographic agencies may be interested, but they're more likely to offer you a commission payment for any images/rights they sell on your behalf.
It's pretty unlikely a magazine would but anything more than the reproduction rights to one of the images, and only if they were featuring that particular celebrity.
I'm assuming you hold the copyright to these images? That's important and something anyone considering your offer would need to know.
