is it safe for a woman to travel alone in tuscany?

i rly want to go to italy in future and im learning italian language and everything and i want to travel there maybe around 18-21yrs. maybe 17. thanks

Yes it is safe and there are a great many young women who visit Tuscany or come to study in Florence for a semester or longer. I run into young people from all over the world when I'm out exploring on the weekends - some in groups and some alone. Almost all of the people who visit here love it in Italy. Knowing at least some of the language will be a plus, but you can get by as a tourist in most places without it. My daughter has visited occasionally since I moved to Italy and I don't hesitate to send her out on her own to sightsee using the trains on days when I can't go along.
