There are endless design ideas for tackling a large wall, obviously a good use of paint would be simple but perhaps there are some more creative wall art options. For example, a giant printed wall mural would be perfect, a large-scale image that transforms the space. These unique fabric wall murals are made to your own specific measurements on self-adhesive wallpaper. That means no paste, no mess and re-positionable! It can be stuck onto walls, doors, and furniture and is easily removed without residue. The printed wallpaper is supplied in large strips like wallpapers making it easy to apply, just peal away the backing and smooth it onto the wall.
Pretty much any image can be blown up with a dramatic effect! Use your own photo, maybe a giant self-portrait metres high on your wall! Or (and perhaps a less scary option) Landscapes are a good idea, a forest scene, with trees scaling the walls up to the ceiling for a magical scene. Or a seascape with the horizon as a modern day dado rail and blue sky filling the upper part of the room. For a more urban approach create a bare brick printed wall mural effect from top to bottom.
If all of this sounds too extreme, a large photo on canvas is a traditional way of effectively and stylishly filling a large space. If photo canvas printing isn't your thing then there are many more creative wall art products such as floating Acrylic prints and aluminium prints. These give off the illusion that they are suspended off the walls, ie floating.

Any Information on Glen Powell, paints seascapes in oil?
Seeking any information on Glen Powell, he does seascapes on canvas in oil.At least 3 for sure. All I can find on him are two seascapes being auctioned off on different sites. No biography, not even picture titles. Anyone know of him or any resources? I've gone through Alot of art sites, google images is the only place that acknowledges his work.
Unfortunately I think this painting was sold thru the starving artists sales that you see advertised on tv having sales at the local hotels for a very cheap price. These are apparently machine made prints from asian sweat shops and the use western names for artist. Check the link provided for more details. ( http://www.drloriv.com/lectures/starving... )
I bought one about 13 years ago in Charlotte when I was in college at one of those sales and have a similar painting - a 3x 4ft seascape by Glen Powell. I think I paid around $25. I checked the one on sale on e bay and it looks very similar to the one I have
