If you are traveling, you can have the art shipped to you when you get back home. These are all negotiation points and things to consider when you set your budget.

Art is subjective. There are art critics that review artists, but really when it comes down to it, it is up to you. If you like it and it will add to your life or home, then buy it. Likewise if a critic loves something and you hate it, then leave it for someone else to buy. Of course if you find a piece by an extremely well known artist and you feel the value will increase over time, then go for it.

If the pieces you purchase are worth in the thousands, you will want to consult with your homeowners or renters insurance to make sure your coverage is enough to include your latest buys. Make sure that when you do insure items that you consider their replacement value. Often original art increases in value over time, so that to replace it would cost more than what you originally paid.

Original, creative and unique idea for art project? It can be anything!?

It could be a model, sculpture, canvas, absolutlely anything! Just something different and unique yet beautiful. different to the ordinary paint on canvas. I'm willing to experiment!

ok well u could still paint on the canvas but put up a big paint sheet, like on the ground and on the wall. then put the canvas in the middle and dip ur hands in paint and then fling ur hands at the canvas with all different colors. or u could sculpt like an iphone and ipod nano together, like 1/2 and 1/2. u could also think of any random thing, like shoes, and twist them to make them look weird. like sculpt high heels but twist them in weird ways, like make them twisty. u could also make a model of a person but make it standing strangely or something like that. the weirder u make it, the more unique it will be.
