Why do the Muslims, then, hate the Hindus?
Muslims shave their head and beard and don special sacred attire that consists of two seamless sheets of white cloth. One is to be worn round the waist and the other over the shoulders. Both these rites are remnants of the old Vedic practice of entering Hindu temples clean and with holy seamless white sheets.
According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, the Kaaba has 360 idols. Traditional accounts mention that one of the deities among the 360 destroyed when the place was stormed was that of Saturn; another was of the Moon and yet another was one called Allah. That shows that in the Kaaba the Arabs worshipped the nine planets in pre-Islamic days. In India the practice of `Navagraha' puja, that is worship of the nine planets, is still in vogue. Two of these nine are Saturn and Moon. In India the crescent moon is always painted across the forehead of the Siva symbol. Since that symbol was associated with the Siva emblem in Kaaba it came to be grafted on the flag of Islam.
Because anyone who doesn't believe what they believe is seen as a threat to the hardline Moslems. Which is why they are at war on so many fronts against so many people who they border with. They are equally intollerant of Bhuddists, Christians, Jews, Atheists, other Moslems who are not from the same brand of Islam and just about anyone who deviates from their doctrine by even a gnats whisker. I am tired of people saying its not just Islam that acts like that because it pretty much is, I am also tired of people saying it is just the fundamentalists, which I don't disagree with but the fundamentalists are the loudest voices in Islam. Fear of fundamentalist Bhuddists blowing up my train or bus does not even factor in the equation. Not all Moslems are terrorists but if you stuck a pin in a list of terrorist organisations you would almost certainly hit one which associates itself with Islam. That tells me there is a deeper underlying problem with Islam.
