Use Fine Art Canvas Prints to Give Your Home a New Look and Feel
If you’re looking for a way to give your home a new look in 2010, fine art canvas prints are a great place to start. There are many prints on canvas that provide that fine art feel without the expense of purchasing an original artwork so you can revamp your home’s interior design without going bankrupt. Whatever style you prefer and whichever colors or images you want to infuse into your décor, it should be fairly easy to find the right artworks to accomplish your goals. And even if you live far away from the nearest gallery you can easily shop for fine art over the Internet.
Artists such as Robert Gonsalves are very popular for today’s fine art print purchasers. Gonsalves and other similar artists create paintings that are often described by the term “magic realism,” although it is hard to categorize his works in such a restrictive way. The ideas presented in his work are largely generated by the external world and involve recognizable human activities using carefully planned illusionist devices. In addition to fine art retailers, you can also find the work of Robert Gonsalves at art exhibitions and galleries around the world, as well as a hardcover book featuring sixteen of his paintings.
Any collector should also consider Fabian Perez art for their collection, whether they are purchasing canvas prints for the first time or have a whole series of paintings already in the home. Perez prefers not to categorize his work, and one look at his unique style makes it clear why he feels this way. Fabian Perez art can be distinguished by the use of acrylic paint, bold and symbolic imagery and a feeling of passion that reflects the artist’s drive and impulse. Each painting is full of emotion and energy, and can do the same to the room in which it sits.
There are many fine art canvas prints to choose from and many places to find them. If one of your goals for the New Year is to give your home a new look, this is a great way to get started.

Box canvas with acrylic Paint..?
If i want to paint on a canvas with acrylic paint, but by painting water on first and then the paint, so its thin and blends together, do i want the canvas to be primed?
any suggestions on whats best?
this is for my GCSE fine art exam, so no silly answers please:)
Thank you
Gesso is overrated and expensive. You can prime it with 100% Acrylic Latex house paint ($12 CAD) if you like. I do this because it is much cheaper than Gesso
($40 CAD)!
If you don't prime the canvas, you might find that the canvas absorbs the water and paint before you have the chance to blend it or otherwise manipulate it the way you like.
Good Luck!
